Fall Hair

Good evening Ladies! I hope you all had a great day so far.  Let's get straight to it! Fall season is approaching this week and as we approach the new season, Hair are some tips to get you ready!  You may have some build up on your hair from styling products, lotions, leave-ins just to name a few,  you can get your hair professionally clarified or invest in a salon quality clarifying shampoo. Clarifying shampoos contain acidic ingredients such as cider vinegar to cut through product buildup that can flatten hair; also increase shine.  These shampoos should only be used when a buildup is evident, once a week to once every 2 weeks, depending on how much styling product you use. SheReigns Essential Shampoo is a great clarifying shampoo free of parabens, sulfate, and harsh chemicals and can be purchased through the website or through etsy.com.  Following the shampoo, a good conditioner that is moisturizing and light weight should be applied.  SheReigns plant based conditioner is a great choice as well.

Time to clip your ends & moisturize - clipping split or damaged ends are super important because the damaged ends can rise to your roots, causing all of your hair to damage.  Now that you have clean hair, conditioned hair, and healthy ends, it's time to moisturize.  Avocado oil is a rich oil and is excellent for restoring dehydrated, aging, sun-damaged hair.  It is filled with vitamins A,D, and E as well as potassium.  It also softens and moistens the hair.

I look forward to sharing with you more hair tips for the fall and upcoming winter!
